Departments

1.Field introduction

The Department field allows the user to select the department's structure for the team.

2. Patterns

Single: Only one department can be selected Multiple: You can select more than one department

4.Department Permissions

By setting the permissions in the Department field, you can assign the corresponding record permissions to the members of the department who belong to the department. There are 3 types of department field permissions:

  • Member: The department that joins and allows you to view records
  • Owner: The department you are joining allows you to edit and delete records
  • Use only to store data: The department you join does not grant any permissions

Like what:

  • When the department field permission set to the worksheet is Member,

If you know that there is record A, the department field in record A is the sales department, and Xiaolan belongs to the sales department in the team department, then Xiaolan has the view permission on record A.

  • When the department field permission set to the worksheet is Owner,

If you know that there is record B, the department field in record B is Production Department, and the small library belongs to the production department in the team department, then the small library has the permissions to view, edit, and delete record B.

  • When the Department field permission is set to Store Data Only on the worksheet,

If you know that there is a record C, the department field in record C is R&D Department, and Xiaoyou belongs to the R&D department in the team department, then Xiaoyou does not have any permissions on record C, such as plug-in, edit, delete, etc., and only exists in the field as a value.

Concentrate: Members and owners of department field permissions may not be able to view, edit, or delete records, so you need to set permissions in conjunction with the app permission group. If a department or department member belongs to a permission group that does not have the corresponding permissions for the record scope, the department field in the record is not granted the Member/Owner permission.

3.4 Support for querying worksheets

(1) Query the worksheet, and display the filter conditions for the field of the department: Yes, No, Contains, Doesn't Contain, Belongs to, Does Not Belong to, (Subordinate Contains, Subordinate Contains), Null, Not Null

(2) Query the worksheet to display the conditional dynamic value of the field as the department field: Fixed Value: Specify the department under the team structure and the department where the current user belongs Dynamic value: Department field

(3) Query the record, fill in the current field, and match the field type of the department field: department
